Giclée Canvas Artwork
Every Cathartic giclée art canvas picture is printed to order on high quality 350gsm cotton mix canvas using HP Vivera inks which can maintain their vibrancy for up to 75 years when kept out of direct sunlight! The size of the canvas you order relates to the front image dimensions: For example, a 20×20 canvas means that the front image width and depth are 20 inches and does not include the top, bottom and side bar areas as the image detail wraps around these.
The artwork image is printed at 1440 dpi (dots per inch resolution) and then has a protective satin matt laminate added, resulting in stunning quality. Every Cathartic canvas comes with our logo, canvas title details and year the design was produced, and is usually found on the underside edge.*
The canvas is then stretched over lightweight but strong, Estonian sourced, knot-free 38mm pine bars – to prevent warping – real wood corner wedges are used to maintain a perfectly tensioned canvas. Once the canvas is stapled to the frame these are concealed with protective tape and felt ‘coins’ added to protect walls. An award winning specialised canvas hanger is then attached so it is ready to hang once it is out of the box!
Every canvas is dispatched in thick bubble wrap and securely packaged within a high quality reusable box! Canvases can be delivered (signature required) to your home or work address and are usually with you within 4 working days of the order being placed.
